We were honored to host the recent Nutley Family Service Bureau (NFSB) Sponsor Appreciation Luncheon, our annual opportunity to thank local businesses, organizations, and individuals who sponsored events in 2023.
“Community spirit was on display at this event,” said Emilie Pulecio, Development and Public Relations Coordinator at NFSB. “I’ve had the privilege of personally interacting with everyone in the room. Being surrounded by such an incredible group of people is humbling, and I can’t thank them enough for their continued support.”
In addition to expressing our gratitude, we discussed the real-world impact made possible by sponsorship support and provided updates on NFSB strategic planning and programs, including the growth of our Mental Health Services, Food Pantry, and Case Management program.
In 2023, NFSB provided 9,532 mental health and psychiatric sessions, a 45% increase from 6,572 sessions in 2022. The Pantry distributed 18,057 bags of food totaling over 200,000 pounds, a 17% increase from the previous year’s total of 15,437 bags. The Pantry also distributed 263 Thanksgiving baskets, a 27% increase from 2022. Volunteers continue to make NFSB’s mission possible, with over 19,500 hours of service contributed by weekly volunteers in 2023.
“Sponsorship support has grown exponentially in recent years,” said Emilie Pulecio, Development and Public Relations Coordinator. “The number of sponsors nearly tripled from 31 in 2021 to 89 in 2023, while sponsorship dollars increased by more than 350% from $12,000 in 2021 to $42,752 in 2023!”
Of course, the value of sponsorship goes beyond much-needed funding. Sponsorship is a commitment to lifting our community as whole. Time after time, sponsors show what can be accomplished through collaboration, compassion, and meaningful engagement. Again, we thank our sponsors for their generosity and support of our mission and community, and we look forward to another year of wonderful events!

The support of our wonderful family of sponsors is essential to helping NFSB bring high quality services to the community. Thank you, Joe Graziano from Proponent Federal Credit Union and President of the Nutley Chamber of Commerce for your kind words.
“We at Proponent Federal Credit Union feel strongly that supporting your mission is important to the Nutley community. Your services are incredible, and you provide them while maintaining the dignity of those you serve.
As a sponsor, we have had the pleasure of participating in your fundraising events. These are enjoyable to us as attendees but also fulfilling as we get to hear about the many ways you serve those in need.”
NFSB offers a variety of sponsorship packages for individual events, as well as opportunities to sponsor all events for the rest of 2024! Sponsorship offers a tremendous amount of exposure before, during, and after the event through our website, email campaigns, social media posts, and signage.
