• Rob Frannicola Brings Energy to NFSB Events and Smiles to People’s Faces

As President of Ultimate Entertainment, Nutley Family Service Bureau (NFSB) board member Rob Frannicola is responsible for producing 400-500 events every year, including weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, and various special occasions and milestone celebrations, as well as major corporate events and product launches.

More than simply playing music and serving as MC, Rob and his team create unforgettable entertainment experiences that suit the vibe and energy of the event and its attendees. This may include specialized dance floor lighting, fog machines, video walls, stilt walkers, airbrush artists, dance break dancers, robots, and photo booths that print memories in the moment.

His experience and a stellar reputation in the event production industry landed Rob on the NFSB Development Committee and various event committees, including serving as Co-Chair for the upcoming Harvesting Hope Gala at Nanina’s in the Park on Tuesday, November 12 from 6 pm – 10 pm.

“I’m so excited to work with Co-Chair Marla Hunter, who is phenomenal, to help bring the Gala back,” Rob said. “Attendees will enjoy fantastic food from Nanina’s, one of the top event spaces in the area, along with full cocktail hour, gourmet dinner, and open bar, with live entertainment throughout the event. After the awards ceremony, we’ll hold a live auction, which always energizes the crowd, and allow plenty of time for dancing. The ticket price of $150 is very reasonable for the experience we’ll provide.”

The entertainment lineup features Mike Popkin on piano during cocktail hour, Eric Šebek singing Broadway tunes during dinner, a live Ultimate Entertainment DJ, and Rob as your MC. Graeme Hardie, Silas Mountsier, Jo-Ann Brown, and the late Janet Biscak will be honored.

All proceeds from the Harvesting Hope Gala will benefit NFSB programs and services, which have never been in such high demand as they are now.

Rob’s involvement with NFSB as a board member is part of an extended homecoming to the area. He grew up in Nutley, moved to New York City, returned to Nutley with Alicia, his then-fiancé. Now married with two children and running his business less than a mile from NFSB, Rob was reintroduced to the organization by an employee whose parents were involved with NFSB.

“At that point, I was just skimming the surface and didn’t realize how deep NFSB actually goes with its programs,” Rob said. “I knew Mike Padilla, attended an event, and joined the development committee before I became a trustee. Now, I’m in 100%. I’m a big believer in the mission and love being able to help people right here in my community.”

Rob looks forward to the inaugural Harvesting Hope Gala and developing fresh ideas to enhance NFSB’s community and fundraising events. His business allows him to see the impact of successful events up close, which makes his role with NFSB that much more rewarding.

“I love going to something as simple as a movie night and seeing kids and families in the community having a great time,” Rob said. “That’s a big reason why I love my industry. I’m responsible for big moments in people’s lives. With NFSB, we get to make people happy at the event and help people beyond the event. You can’t put a price tag on seeing joy in somebody else.”
