Emergency Food Distribution
- Holiday Emergency Food Distribution Event, Tuesday, December 21st, 2021, 9 am, Rain or Shine.
- Essex County Weequahic Park, Meeker Avenue & Empire Street Intersection, Newark.
- Enter Weequahic Park via the Meeker Avenue entrance.
- Cars should line up along Elizabeth Avenue before turning right onto Meeker Avenue and then turning right into Weequahic Park.
- No left turns are allowed from Meeker Avenue into Weequahic Park.
- No arrivals before 8 am.
- Drivers must keep their windows rolled up and open their trunk.
- A walk-up distribution will be located adjacent to the parking lot. People walking to the site must wear a face mask.
- 1,000 turkeys and boxes will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Felices Fiestas Evento de Distribución De Alimentos de Emergencia De Accion de Gracias, Martes 21 de Diciembre del 2021, 9 am, Lluvia o Sol.
- Parque Weequahic del Condado de Essex, entrada por Meeker Avenue, Newark.
- Entre Weequahic Park por la entrada de Meeker Avenue.
- Los carros deben alinearse por Elizabeth Avenue antes de girar a la derecha hacia Meeker Avenue y despues a la derecha para entrar a Weequahic Park.
- Girar a la izquerdia no es permitido hacia Meeker Avenue para entrar a Weequahic Park.
- No llegadas antes de las 8 am.
- Conductores deben mantener las ventanas cerradas y abrir sus baules.
- Personas caminando deben utilizar mascarilla. El sitio de distribucion para personas caminando estara al lado del parqueo.
- 1,500 cajas serán distribuidas.
