Carts of Caring, a ministry of Franklin Reformed Church, Nutley, marched in the township’s 100th Memorial Day Parade to collect non-perishable food for the Nutley Family Services Food Pantry. Members of the congregation marched along the parade route with shopping carts on loan from Nutley Park Shop Rite. Parade viewers could put their food donations into the carts as the group passed by. Cash donations were also be accepted. Cash donations were used by NFSB to purchase perishable food for their clients. 2019 marks the third year in a row that the congregants marched to benefit the food pantry operation of Nutley Family Service Bureau.
